Parisian Experiences: From Street Cafes to the Top of the Eiffel Tower 🗼

With a four-day Interrail pass, we set off for Paris, ready for a memorable experience. We started the day by dropping off our bags at the hotel and then went to a cozy restaurant near the Eiffel Tower. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we ordered both a hamburger and a steak. To our great surprise, the steak was raw – we must have ordered the wrong thing! Luckily, the staff was very helpful, and we were able to change the steak to a pasta. After a delicious meal, we were ready to explore more of the city.

We then went on a guided tour up the iconic Eiffel Tower. The guide told us interesting facts, including that the tower had been painted with Jotun, a Norwegian paint brand. We spent the afternoon and evening there, from light until dark. Seeing the city from the top of the Eiffel Tower was an experience like no other. When the lights of Paris started to shine, we felt like we were in the middle of a magical dream – the tower lit up like a jewel against the night sky.

We also went to the Christmas market.

Finally, after a day full of adventure and discovery, we checked into our hotel. We were tired, but incredibly satisfied with everything we had experienced. It was the perfect end to a day filled with fun, exciting learning, and unforgettable moments.

Interrail pass price: €212 (EURO) = 2485 Norwegian Kr (NOK) For 4 Days, which we can use anytime during a month. We used them on the longest travel days.

Guided tour to the Eiffel Tower price: For two adults, with an English guide, and ticket to the very top of the Eiffel Tower. The guiding lasts for an hour and a half, before you can go and look for yourself. This cost 1746 Norwegian Kr for two people = 148.95 Euro
