Stay tuned for a fantastic travelogue! - United States and the Caribbean

My grandfather and I talked about going to the Caribbean when I started high school – it feels like forever ago. At the time, neither of us could afford such a trip. But after saving since my first job, and my grandfather also saving up money, we finally had the opportunity to go to the CARIBBEAN!

We knew we wanted to go on a cruise, so I researched different options. In the end, we decided to book through a travel agency called MyCruice. We spent a day in Oslo looking around before we went to the travel agency. There we booked a cruise with a drinks package and food included, a hotel in Miami both before and after the cruise, and flights to and from for my grandfather. I only booked a one-way ticket for myself, as I wanted to stay longer in the Caribbean. It was a bit difficult to know if everything was included before we booked.

We paid extra to get an outside cabin with a window, but unfortunately we didn't get that. The travel agency must have made a mistake in booking.

After the visit to the travel agency, we had a delicious dinner at Egon. It was very cozy, and then we went home.

I printed out tickets and fixed ESTA for both of us, as this was necessary to enter the US. I also logged into the cruise website and booked some extra activities that we had agreed to do – rum tasting and zipline. We later decided to add kayaking and scuba diving.

We met to plan, but didn't come up with much. We decided to arrange most of the activities when we arrived in the US.

It was a stressful but incredibly nice experience planning this trip with my grandfather!
